C. Andrew Hovan is a freelance journalist and musician active for over 30 years. From his days with the Northeast Ohio Jazz Society to his current work for Down Beat and All About Jazz, Hovan's images and writing have been featured in numerous publications. His work as a liner note writer is spread across 11 labels and close to 70 albums. As a drummer, he has worked with horn bands, samba schools, and jazz trios throughout Ohio and Michigan. Hovan's images are available for a variety of purposes, including publication and purchase of prints.
